This was our first kid’s triathlon experience and we thought the event was set-up and executed very well. Our son had a GREAT time and we will definitely do as many of the remaining events in the series as possible. Thank you so much for setting up such a positive activity for the kids!
“We had a lot of fun this weekend at the triathlon. Megan was very proud of herself that she completed a triathlon and I do not know if you saw her but she crossed the finish line before me since her strength is running and it is not mine!!! Believe me I tried to keep up with her, she has a lot of energy and I have a few years on her!! I know she had a great time.”
“Again we had a GREAT time and it was well organized. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Thanks again for letting Megan participate. It was a good experience for her and maybe this will be something she participates in for years to come. This is a great experience for kids and for a great cause.”
“Have a good week and hopefully we will see you again at the next race:)”
“Thanks again for offering this event! It was very well run and all inquiries with questions were promptly answered! Keegan loved it so much that he wanted to sign up for the remaining three in the series, plus the one at the JCC! He came home last night and was practicing his transition from the swim so he could get dressed faster!”
“Thanks for a great Sunday morning! It was great and the kids had a blast!Loved how you stayed true to your time schedule, there wasn’t a big delay before awards, the way you recognized everyone at the awards, and just your spirit of inclusion.”
“You guys put on a great race and we will be back!!! Loved the characters, Graham Rahal and the water folks. For a first-time race in this series, you did a superb job! Can’t wait to see how the idea of serving other kids develops!
See you in July and next year at IUPUI!”
“My two daughters really enjoyed the triathlon–which was their first. The only criticism I have is regarding my 10 year old (Claire). Since this was her first, she may have misunderstood something, but she was unclear on where the appropriate running course was at times. I overheard other people making similar comments–not sure if there would be a clearer way to do it next time? Other than that ( and of course the confusion due to my misunderstanding of the age-up policy and her not receiving the medal at the awards ceremony) everything was fun!”
“Thank you for directing the event!”
